Boys'
Sleeping Room
July, 2005
Novokuznetsk Children's Home #1 is a
very old building, recently converted from a schoolhouse into a children's
home. Classrooms were converted into sterile dorm sleeping rooms,
with some make-shift cabinets serving as storage for the kids' clothes and
personal items. Thanks to an extra donation from one of our boy's
sponsors, we were able to remodel the boys' sleeping room to make it a
much more attractive place to be. New bunk beds were purchased to
replace some of the older worn-out beds, as well as large wardrobe units,
providing plenty of personal storage space for every child.
Donor: Edward DeSear Project
