Help the OSI Cause - Donor-Funded Projects - Donor-Funded Events - How to Donate
While child sponsorship is our primary goal, there are numerous other ways to assist OSI in its mission that do not involve the commitment of a sponsor-child
relationship. These include helping OSI in its administrative effort, and contributing to orphanage-wide projects and excursions. These are needs
that cannot be met via individual child sponsorship, and thus donors play an important role in our mission for children.
Orphan Sponsorship International is unique in that 100% of child sponsor funds go directly to serving the needs of the child, with none applied to "overhead" or program administrative costs. This allows child sponsors to focus 100% of their attention and funds on the needs of their sponsored child. While we believe strongly in this operational philosophy, the resulting administrative challenge is obvious. OSI is administered primarily by volunteers who cover much of the administrative costs with personal funds. We have no leased office space, with all OSI staff working from their homes or at the site orphanages. The only paid positions within OSI are our site liaisons, who are locals hired on-site at local salaries. We are extremely grateful to anyone wishing to contribute funds to the administration of OSI and to allow us to expand our efforts.
Program Site Sponsorship - The highest level of donor involvement is the funding of the administration an entire site program. Each Program Site Sponsor allows us to expand our efforts to serve 40-60 more children. See the Sponsor a Program link for more information.
Help the Homes
- Donations allow us to help orphans and orphanages in capacities that individual child-sponsorships cannot. Donations allow us to serve larger-scale
orphanage-wide needs, such as providing better facilities and educational excursions to create good memories for all of the children collectively. And
just as OSI serves as liaison between sponsors and children, we also wish to serve in the same liaison capacity for donors, with donor input always welcome
and in fact encourage, with donors otherwise kept well informed of how every penny of their funds are utilized.

Children's Culture Connection - OSI is grateful to be a benefiting charity of Dina Fesler's "Children's Culture Connection," a very unique effort to raise funds for numerous international child welfare charities, not through donations, but through publication of wonderfully unique children's books and holding of educational children's events, proceeds from which benefit the charity of the buyer's wish, including OSI. CCC's products make great gifts, and are a great way to help needy children!
