With
school starting in Bulgaria on 15 September, we wanted to provide a
last-hurrah for the summer for 32 of our Bulgaria kids, and their
unanimous choice for this was SofiaLand amusement park in capitol Sofia,
about an hour and a half from Dupnitza. Many of our newer kids from
the Roma neighborhoods have hardly been out of Dupnitza, so it was an
exciting excursion for them, and loads of fun! Simple as it seams,
many of these kids have not had such an experience, and the day is
something they will remember all their lives. We are grateful for
the generosity of those who have made this excursion
possible, and for providing this memory for these very deserving kids!
